The Cost of Adventure

Last Wednesday, Molly's urge to explore beyond the fence got the best of her and Regen followed suit. I'm sure they had a great time until they went into the street where Regen was hit by a truck. Luckily, she is a tough dog with a rock for a head (probably dented the bumper). It looks as if the truck either drug her on her head or hit her hard enough to send her skidding on her head and split her ear. It took her a couple of days to get her rear legs back under her and she will probably have some road rash scarring, but we are thrilled, blessed and a bit amazed that she is still with us.
