Bananarama

Despite the summer heat, we have tried to spend as much time outside as possible. While it's been hot, we are in NO hurry to re-visit the Husker winter. Raija enjoys the duck ponds, parks, swings, pools and splash pad. Her personality is really beginning to shine through. It seems like only weeks ago that she was just beginning to eat baby food, learning to sit up, making a few sounds and trying to hold her own bottle. Now she's crawling like crazy, standing on her own for a few seconds, waving and saying "bye-bye" (whether you're coming or going), and clapping. Currently, her favorite activities are using Molly, mom or dad as a jungle gym, emptying drawers, playing ball, riding in her car, and sleeping in her bike seat as I chauffeur her around Hastings. Also, Breann and I just about have each & every 'Yo Gabba Gabba!'
